The Role
This is a rare opportunity for a Key Account Executive to be the face of Diageo to our valued regional export accounts. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering beer plans, agreed activations and contractual obligations within Australian agency partners and internationally.
Your Responsibilities
- You will be the primary contact for our key partners and will be accountable to influence across marketing, commercial, innovation and sales & operations planning to deliver outcomes.
- You will develop and implement strong joint business plans with key accounts within your portfolio.
- You will seek opportunities to partner with and grow relationships, sales and market share within your accounts.
- You will use data and insights to understand consumer behaviour to act as a category expert to your key accounts.
- You will also be responsible for some business development activities.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- You will have previous Key Accounts/Sales experience or a background in Supply/Finance.
- You will have demonstrated experience in nurturing and growing key accounts and the ability to think strategically across the needs of multiple sites within a single ownership group.
- You will have strong analytical skills and an ability to make solid commercial recommendations and decisions by interrogating performance data.
- You will have strong communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- You will have strong internal motivation and an ability to work within your portfolio autonomously.
- You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to challenge/think differently.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 per annum, bonus, flexible leave entitlements and product allowance.
