At Hilti (Aust) Pty Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Industry Account Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is a technical sales role where you will be focusing on an industry portfolio, including Food & Beverage, Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, and Electronics, to introduce innovative products, services, and software solutions.

You will create strategies and lead their execution to increase sales from targeted accounts based on commercial relationships and technical specifications through collaboration with the global and regional Business Developer community and support from the technical back office.

The Role Involves

As a Strategic Industry Account Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing local accounts, including owners, top engineering procurement construction firms, and top local contractors, operating in the Industrial (E&I) sector to achieve long-term relationships.
  • Developing specifications for accounts' projects and Hilti's products & solutions placement in standards & best practices documents.
  • Accountable for sales development (direct and/or indirect) through specifying Hilti systems and application solutions in all relevant projects of assigned accounts.
  • Ensuring sales revenue by coordinating with local Industry Sales teams on projects where Hilti systems have been specified.
  • Supporting the local Energy & Industry Sales team in driving reverse specification or other technical aspects on site.
  • Leading to increase Hilti's share of wallet in accounts' projects and ultimately integrating Hilti's technologies/application in account standards.
  • Being the primary Hilti contact and negotiator for accounts and initiating relations with high management levels of accounts.
  • Accountable for relationship management to external & internal partners related to accounts strategy to support the E&I Business.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
