Customer Service Liaison

About this role
Holcim is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team in Norwest, NSW. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders, and maintaining effective communication with sales and production staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously, advising of any delays.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with sales and production staff, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of customer requests.
- Escalate any customer issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate department or manager.
- Liaise with dispatchers to optimize service levels and reduce costs, ensuring customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
- Ensure full knowledge and compliance with the Allocation Procedure Manual.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance customer experience and business performance.
- Perform other duties as required, aligned with your skills and training, and specified to meet business standards.
- Liaise with the Operations and Scheduling teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Previous experience in processing high volumes of data or orders/transactions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Available to work shifts starting between 5:30am and 7:30am, and finishing between 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Google and MS Office applications.
- Prior experience in the concrete industry is beneficial, but full training will be provided in ordering systems, product knowledge, and mixes.
