Our client is a truly dynamic global law firm who boast one of the fastest-growing and modern legal practices, they have remarkable on-going success and renowned reputation as a world-class employer. They are now seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their ranks and support the business in this highly exciting role.

The exceptional opportunity available is for a experienced Human Resources Administrator/Coordinator to work closely with an inspiring HR team in the firm's Melbourne office. This role forms an an integral part of the Human Resources team and is the key part of keeping the team running smoothly. You will be mentored by accomplished HR professionals who will guide and truly support you on your journey to success.

To be considered for this role you will:

- Ideally an Administrator wanting a step up to Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree or progress towards qualification focusing on Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development Management, or other related areas; professional human resources certification highly desirable
- Experience in HR/Talent Management, preferably in a professional services firm environment
- Knowledge of HR functional disciplines (employee relations, staffing, compensation, organisational development, training, and employee development)
- Knowledge of Australian Employment legislation including but not limited to the Fair Work Act and the Legal Services Award
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent written and spoken English is required
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive results with a sense of urgency and executing against the objectives
- Ability to influence, interact and consult with staff and partners; strong collaboration skills and effective stakeholder management
- Coaching, counselling, business acumen, and overall communication skills.
- High level of discretion, diplomacy and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
