Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in Brisbane. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and creating profitable sales from existing and new customers.
About the Role
This is a 12-month maternity coverage contract. You will work closely with internal departments to set up and maintain accurate customer files, provide prompt responses to internal and external customer inquiries, and assist outside sales and/or branch management in processing priority transactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop accounts and generate quotes using our client's database; ensure the database is maintained and monitor/follow up on quotations.
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase market share by growing sales.
- Meet the quote and order processing KPIs, including conversion rates, and maintain CRM data.
- Provide product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms, and offer substitute products where appropriate.
- Assist outside sales and/or branch management in processing priority transactions.
Requirements
- High Level of Admin Skills
- Preferable understanding of oil, gas, and/or mining industry specifications.
- Engineering Background is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate, ideally with experience in SAP or a similar in-house ordering system.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas.

We offer a competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience. The estimated annual salary range for this role is AU$60,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
