Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at MRI Software. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about growing business and expanding our footprint in the real estate industry.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, identifying whitespace revenue, and building relationships with existing clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers through regular communication and face-to-face interaction.
- Acting as a 'solutions expert' in helping customers with their unique business issues and strategic initiatives.
- Working closely with the sales team to share ideas, knowledge, and new business development strategies.
- Driving and managing the sales process, targeting whitespace opportunities, and identifying client solutions.
- Facilitating the sales administration process in Salesforce.
- Designing account strategies and working with sales leadership to achieve short- and long-term sales goals for targeted clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of account management experience in the software industry or similar field (Property Manager, AM, or BDM).
- Knowledge of the Real Estate industry, with the ability to network within the industry.
- Demonstrated track record in adding value through client relationships, increasing revenue over a sustained period, and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline preferred, but not required.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $80,000-$100,000 per annum, based on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
