Your Role

We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. As a high-growth tech company selling software in a competitive global market, this role will challenge you to close deals, develop long-term revenue streams, and showcase our products through live demonstrations.

You'll love running the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and helping customers understand the value of our suite of products and solutions. Your strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing skills will be essential in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with prospective and existing customers to achieve/exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Identify prospects and build a sound pipeline of business opportunities
  • Articulate the value of Phocas' solutions and applications through customized demos/presentations
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
  • Stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements, and product offerings
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing skills
  • Experience of managing and closing concurrent, high-velocity sales-cycles
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
  • Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Accounting/FP&A tech, BI, and/or ERP solutions experience in the mid-market
  • Be a pro-active self-starter
