We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at THE CAREER MEISTER. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support to our customers and internal teams.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Technical Support Specialist with strong mechanical aptitude to provide expert technical guidance to Japanese-speaking clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing remote troubleshooting and first-line technical support to clients worldwide.
- Offering customized product recommendations and solutions for complex mechanical issues.
- Analyzing product design, conducting technical evaluations, and recommending improvements.
- Collaborating with sales and customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations via webcasts or other remote technologies.
- Preparing technical data, researching information, and creating Bill of Materials for projects.
- Conducting technical training for internal teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial sales/support or industrial equipment specification.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D CAD software.
- Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience supporting both Japanese and English-speaking clients is highly regarded.

This role is based in Melbourne North and requires own transportation. You will observe Japan holidays and work on ANZ holidays with appropriate pay. Full onsite work at the initial stage is required, followed by optional remote/flexible work arrangements.
