Technical Support Specialist

Milestone IT is currently seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will work on Saturdays and Sundays for an afternoon shift, providing Level 1 support to users both on and off-site.
The role requires the ability to work independently and productively within a small team environment. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance over the phone, logging tickets, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing first-level technical support and resolving user queries
- Performing proactive and reactive troubleshooting to identify potential problems
- Maintaining Client's Network and ensuring seamless system operation
- Installing, moving, adding, and changing equipment and software as required
Skills we are looking for:
- Detailed knowledge of Ticketing System and Windows 10 Operating Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training during their initial three weeks of full-time onboarding. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical support skills in a challenging and dynamic environment.
