Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical IT Support Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with our clients and provide exceptional technical support.

About the Role

The Technical IT Support Specialist will be responsible for monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors prior to or when they occur, and providing telephonic or chat support to clients as needed. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain, as well as basic knowledge of ITIL processes.

This role involves working in a pressurized environment, where the ability to communicate effectively, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a positive outlook is essential. The successful candidate will be able to plan activities and projects well in advance, take into account possible changing circumstances, and prioritize tasks accordingly.

In terms of qualifications, we require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience). Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or Microsoft Certified, Azure Administrator Associate, are highly desirable. Experience with troubleshooting and providing support in security/network/data center/systems/storage administration and monitoring services within a medium to large ICT organization is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor client infrastructure and solutions
  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur
  • Provide telephonic or chat support to clients as needed
  • Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes
  • Follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity
  • Report and escalate incidents as necessary
  • Ensure efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests
