We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Robotics Technical Support team as an Engineer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Deep-dive analysis and resolution of technical issues escalated by Amazon Robotics Facilities;
  • Utilizing multiple data sources, dashboards, and logs to pinpoint and resolve software/hardware defects, inconsistencies, or bugs;
  • Collaboration with development/software teams to navigate complex situations and create viable solutions for customers;
  • Engagement in high-severity incidents around Amazon's Product Fulfilment & Sortation facilities;
  • Management of high-severity calls, communicating and troubleshooting directly with customers;

This role requires a strong understanding of technical systems and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and debugging systems, service, or platforms, as well as networking knowledge, Unix knowledge, and SQL knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Deep dive into complex technical issues and develop effective resolutions;
- Utilize various data sources to identify and resolve software/hardware defects;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive incident resolution;
- Manage high-priority customer interactions and ensure timely issue resolution;
- Employ Change Management best practices to implement changes within the Amazon Robotics environment.

In this role, you will work closely with a global team of robotic system specialists to provide 24/7 support coverage. You will be expected to work a 5-day week, including one day over the weekend, to ensure critical support coverage.
