The company, a leading provider of managed services, is seeking skilled Service Desk Agents to support a high-profile government service desk.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will provide specialised technical support via telephone or email in a Helpdesk environment.
  • Identify complex technical issues and escalate them effectively to senior staff or external vendors.
  • Log and document technical solutions and update users throughout the problem-resolution process.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of supported products and their related technologies.
  • Conduct training for Helpdesk/IT support staff.
  • Contribute to process and project improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

  • A baseline security clearance is mandatory.
  • You should have 1-2 years of relevant technical support experience.
  • You must have a strong understanding of common desktop applications, systems administration, and network engineering.
  • You require advanced problem-solving skills with a high service orientation and excellent communication abilities.

Salary and Benefits

We estimate the salary for this role to be around AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
