About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Robotics Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Amazon Robotics. As a member of our global support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving complex issues related to robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep-dive analysis of technical issues escalated by various Amazon Robotics facilities
  • Utilization of multiple data sources, dashboards, and logs to pinpoint and resolve software/hardware defects
  • Collaboration with development/software teams to navigate complex situations and create viable solutions for customers
  • Engagement in high-severity incident management, coordinating real-time service restoration between multiple teams
  • Management of high-severity calls, communicating and troubleshooting directly with customers
  • Implementation of Change Management best practices to create, approve, and implement changes within the Amazon Robotics environment

About the Team

We are a global team of robotic system specialists in the US and EU, expanding our 24*7 coverage by starting a new team in Australia. We provide remote technical support via tickets, phone, and chat mediums, aiming to delight our customers while solving complex problems daily.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging systems, services, or platforms
  • Networking knowledge
  • Unix knowledge
  • SQL knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Curiosity and proactive learning skills, with a focus on delivering improved service for customers
  • Knowledge of linux/unix systems, databases, and network operations
  • Experience reading and writing automation scripts
  • Extensive experience explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences

Location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia (or one of the following locations)

Estimated Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
