Human Resources Strategic Partner

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner/Senior Business Partner to join our People and Culture team at BDO Melbourne for a 13-month contract. You will be responsible for supporting stakeholders in the development and delivery of talent strategies, leading the delivery of HR projects, solutions, and services that deliver business outcomes, build capability, and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities- Support stakeholders in developing and delivering talent strategies that align with business goals.
- Lead the delivery of HR projects, solutions, and services that drive business outcomes and improve performance.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture based on shared values and common goals.
- Manage and advise senior leaders on people matters, including employee relations, performance, remuneration, engagement, inclusion, diversity, talent management, wellbeing, and turnover.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support on organisational change projects.
- Build and maintain strategic working relationships within client groups and key stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, change management, or a related discipline would be highly regarded but not essential.
- Prior experience in a business partnering role is required.
- Experience in developing business strategies and knowledge of change management activities is essential.
- Exposure or experience using a talent management methodology such as a 9-box grid is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders is necessary.
- Knowledge and understanding of employment-related laws, employee relations, and risk management issues ideally within professional services is preferred.
