About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Laing O'Rourke, working on a large Civil/Rail project in Melbourne. This full-time role offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development within a people-centric, privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate HR/IR advice and guidance to support business objectives.
- Facilitate and support performance development, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Support the People Lead in developing and implementing proactive employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Contribute to the achievement of the people business plan and support all HR activities across the project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that align with the Workforce Development and Industry Participation Strategy and Plan.
About You
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a generalist Human Resources Advisory role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence decision-making.
- A proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and building trust to deal with sensitive situations diplomatically.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable but not essential.
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is AU$95,000 - AU$115,000, depending on experience.
