We're Drake Content, a fast-growing, growth-obsessed, social and performance agency working with some of Australia's most exciting travel, tourism, hospitality and property brands. Based in Collingwood, we're a small, experienced team of seven, delivering sharp, creative and smart performance outcomes, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us.

This is a full-time leadership role for someone with experience turning briefs into action, managing internal teams and clients, and spotting growth opportunities along the way. It's a "catcher" role, ideal for someone who can step back from the detail, be in on WIPs, help distil a brief, and allocate the right people to the job. You're comfortable with new and old clients, a strategy presentation, or a new business meeting.

You don't need to build paid campaigns, but you must have a strong understanding of how paid media works as part of a wider marketing and amplification strategy. You've likely worked in or closely with performance teams, and you're fluent in how Meta and Google support broader business outcomes.

We're also an AI-enabled agency, and while you don't need to be a technical expert here either (we consider this BAU), we're looking for someone with genuine curiosity about how AI tools can streamline strategy, content workflows, and campaign delivery. You might already use AI in briefing, planning or versioning — or you're excited to learn.

What does this role look like?

  • Lead day-to-day client relationships, internal delivery and forward planning
  • Help translate briefs into actionable delivery, scoping timelines and allocating resources
  • Guide junior team members and producers, and help them grow with mentorship and clarity
  • Represent Drake in new business meetings, contributing to pitches and proposal development
  • Liaise directly with the Founder and act as their right hand across strategy, delivery and growth
  • Maintain the pace, polish and curiosity of big brand expectations in a smaller, leaner team
  • Think commercially, not just creatively — you know how great work also drives business

Who are you?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in an agency environment across brand, creative or performance
  • You've evolved into a confident client-facing operator, with strong delivery instincts
  • You've worked across integrated campaigns and understand the structure of great marketing
  • You're organised, efficient and know how to keep a team on track
  • You've either worked in or alongside paid media teams and understand the language of Meta and Google strategy
  • You're curious, collaborative and bring a growth mindset to every challenge
  • You're open to how AI can enhance creative, strategy or delivery
  • You've led teams, mentored juniors, and helped guide projects to completion
