About Studio Jam

Studio Jam is a Melbourne-based architectural visualisation studio producing high-end CGI imagery, animations, aerials, interiors, streetscapes and product renders. We collaborate closely with architects, developers and designers to bring their projects to life through compelling, photorealistic visuals.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Visualisation Lead with over 10 years of experience in architectural CGI, who's just as confident leading a creative team as they are managing projects and clients. This is a dual role that blends high-level visualisation skills with hands-on project management. You'll oversee key projects from start to finish, ensuring top-tier creative output, managing timelines and budgets, and serving as a trusted point of contact for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Lead and deliver high-quality CGI stills, animations, product and architectural visualisations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and team resourcing to keep everything on track.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand briefs, provide updates and guide them through the process.
• Oversee a team of artists, reviewing work, setting quality standards and offering mentorship.
• Work closely with project managers, stylists, and creative leads to maintain consistent delivery.
• Identify workflow improvements and help implement new tools or processes where needed.
• Handle multiple projects at once, often with overlapping deadlines.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in architectural visualisation, with a strong portfolio of stills and/or animation.
• Advanced skills in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Unreal, Photoshop or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of lighting, texturing, composition and post-production.
• Proven experience managing projects, clients and timelines from start to finish.
• Great communication skills, able to clearly explain ideas, handle feedback and keep things moving.
• Comfortable juggling creative work with client meetings, deadlines and team leadership.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own time as well as others'.
