About Us
Ashmont Homes is a growing, award-winning custom home builder based in Gregory Hills NSW. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Part-Time Bookkeeper to keep our finances in order and running smoothly, to assist with informed decision-making.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Prepare Client Invoices and ensure timely payments, working with Operational Team
- Manage the timely payment of supplier invoices, working with the Accounts Payable officer.
- Attend to Accounts Payable enquiries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist with payroll preparation and HR-related tasks.
- Prepare Monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Monitor cash flow and prepare regular financial management reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct job cost reporting.
- Manage motor vehicle and fuel accounts.
- Assist with Financial Year End Accounts preparation.
- Manage business insurances and superannuation.
- Liaise with accountants and management when required.
- Work part-time, approximately 10 hours per week, with flexible hours and working arrangements.
About You
To succeed, you'll bring:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or MYOB).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A friendly and professional communication style.
