We're Hiring: Restaurant Manager – Pasta Emilia (Surry Hills, NSW)
Full-time | $72,000–$82,000 + super + bonus
Pasta Emilia is a certified organic Pasta Lab, Osteria and soon to be Cellar Door, in the heart of Surry Hills. For 20 years, we've brought the spirit of Emilia-Romagna to Sydney — crafting fine food, sharing natural wines, and welcoming guests like family.
We're looking for a
warm, organised, and motivated Restaurant Manager
to lead our front-of-house team. This role blends hands-on service, team training, and system oversight with opportunities to shape customer experience, wine events, and our growing Bacco Wine Club.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading service and training staff in food, wine, and order of service
Supporting wine tastings, events, and club operations
Overseeing POS (Lightspeed), rostering (Deputy), and reporting with the bookkeeper
Managing customer enquiries, bookings, and day-to-day floor operations
You'll need:
2+ years in restaurant management or supervisor role
Bar and inventory experience + a love of organic/natural wine
Strong leadership, calm under pressure, and excellent service instincts
