About the Role
We're on the lookout for a reliable and organised Administration / Receptionist to join our team at Skymark Group in Seven Hills, NSW.
This is a great role if you're looking to get your foot in the door and gain exposure to both construction admin and finance. You'll be helping out with a mix of office support, basic bookkeeping, and keeping the day-to-day running smoothly.
No two days will be the same, so if you're someone who can roll up your sleeves, stay organised, and juggle a few different things at once , you'll fit right in. We also offer flexible hours, so it's a good fit whether you're a recent grad, getting back into the workforce, or just after a role that works with your lifestyle.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Answering phones, greeting visitors, and keeping on top of emails and inboxes
- Helping the team with scheduling and calendars
- Doing basic bookkeeping in Xero – entering bills, reconciling accounts, and simple reporting
- Lending a hand with payroll and super when needed
- Filing, organising project documents, and keeping the office ticking over
- Putting together simple Excel reports (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- General admin and support for the project teams
- Talking with suppliers, contractors, and clients about invoices and payments
- Collecting the mail, scanning, printing, and other day-to-day office tasks
What We're Looking For:
- At least 1 year of basic experience with Xero (data entry, reconciliations, basic reports)
- Good Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, basic reporting)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and inboxes efficiently
- Adaptable, able to problem solve, and capable of self-managing in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for internal and external interactions
- Enthusiasm to learn and gain exposure to construction administration and finance
