About the role
We are seeking a motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our firm. As our new Senior Bookkeeper, you will step into a key role in supporting our Business Services team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will work closely with a variety of clients across different industries, providing accurate and timely bookkeeping services.
Qualifications / Experience required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior bookkeeping or client management
- Strong ability to manage multiple files independently
- Proficiency in Xero and MYOB (and associated apps)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Duties
- Full-function bookkeeping across a portfolio of SME clients, including monthly transaction processing, accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing and lodging instalment and business activity statements, payroll and superannuation obligations
- Reconciling accounts, bank statements, and preparing monthly management reports
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
- All aspects of payroll related work for various clients, including the preparation of periodic payroll calculations, STP reporting, superannuation, payroll tax lodgements and WorkCover compliance
- Annual payroll reconciliations, preparation of PAYG payment summaries, payroll tax annual reconciliations and WorkCover annual declarations
- Other adhoc back office requirements as requested by clients

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
