Payroll Officer | Full-Time | On-Site at Gregory Hills Depot

For over 60 years, GMK Logistics has been delivering trusted, nationwide transport and 3PL services, specialising in the flooring sector. Our reputation is built on reliability, speed, and care—making us a market leader with exciting growth ahead.

As part of our continued expansion, we're seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our close-knit and high-performing Finance team. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Gregory Hills depot.


Key Responsibilities

· Process weekly and monthly payroll for 200–220 employees using Visipay.

· Prepare and lodge monthly payroll tax.

· Reconcile and process superannuation payments.

· Ensure compliance with NES and relevant Industry Awards.

· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

· Manage payroll setup for new hires, changes, and terminations.

· Generate payroll-related management reports.

· Support the HR Advisor with HR-related matters.

· Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly.

· Assist with payroll audits.

· Contribute to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and bookkeeping tasks.

· Participate in month-end processes.


What You'll Bring

· –3 years of payroll experience, including award interpretation, payroll tax, superannuation, terminations, and leave accruals.

· Experience with UKG and Visipay is highly regarded.

· Strong skills in Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset.
