We're seeking a skilled Health and Safety Project Manager to join our Major Projects team and contribute to this critical endeavour.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to manage diverse health and safety improvement projects, initiatives, and systems development efforts within TransGrid's Major Projects. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional and project teams to ensure the successful implementation of health and safety projects within Major Projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage health and safety projects ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget optimization.
  • In collaboration with the HSE Director, identify opportunities for health and safety improvements within Major Projects.
  • Develop and implement Major Projects health and safety management systems aligned with the Corporate and Project Management Framework requirements.
  • Integrate health and safety considerations into all aspects of Major Projects, working closely with the HSE Director, HSE Managers, Project Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
About You

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
  • A minimum of ten years' experience in Health and Safety.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with superior attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas through clear and effective messages.
  • High-level interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in implementing and managing effective stakeholder relationships.
