Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement robust health, safety, and environment plans to ensure the wellbeing of our team members.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment with health, safety, and environment goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports to support ongoing health, safety, and environment efforts.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior leadership on health, safety, and environment matters.
- Foster a strong safety culture across the organisation by promoting awareness and engaging stakeholders.
Salary Range: AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in health and safety management, preferably within an architecture and engineering consultancy.
- Experience working in health and safety management in office environments and project sites.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety preferred; tertiary qualifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of mental health, psychosocial risk management, and the ability to promote a culture of wellbeing.
- Excellent communication skills, including producing high-quality reports, training, briefings, articles, and other project-related documentation for various audiences.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel across HDR's Australian offices.
