Senior Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Australia. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety plans for projects across Australia.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with health and safety objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
- Publish reports to support ongoing health and safety efforts.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on health and safety matters.
- Foster a strong culture of safety across the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in health and safety management, preferably within an architecture and engineering consultancy.
- Experience working in health and safety management in both office and project/site environments.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety preferred; tertiary qualifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of mental health, psychosocial risk management, and ability to promote a wellbeing culture.
- Excellent communication skills, including producing high-quality reports, training materials, briefings, articles, and other project-related documentation for various audiences.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel across HDR's Australian offices.

- Global Engagement: Engage with HDR's global safety system and collaborate with international safety coordinators while focusing on local initiatives that make a difference to our people.
- Supportive Team: Work alongside dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the field of health and safety.
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
