About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Australia. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety plans for projects across Australia.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with health and safety objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Publish reports to support ongoing health and safety efforts.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on health and safety matters.
  • Foster a strong culture of safety across the organisation.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in health and safety management, preferably within an architecture and engineering consultancy.
  • Experience working in health and safety management in both office and project/site environments.
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety preferred; tertiary qualifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of mental health, psychosocial risk management, and ability to promote a wellbeing culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, including producing high-quality reports, training materials, briefings, articles, and other project-related documentation for various audiences.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel across HDR's Australian offices.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
