About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our team at HDR. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement comprehensive HSE Project Plans that ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team members.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment with HSE Project Plans and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and HSE audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports to support ongoing HSE efforts and provide advice and recommendations to senior leadership on HSE matters.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in health and safety management, preferably within an architecture and engineering consultancy.
  • Experience working in health and safety management in both office and project/site environments.
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety is preferred; tertiary qualifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of mental health, psychosocial risk management, and the ability to foster a culture of wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication skills, including producing high-quality reports, training, briefings, articles, and other project-related documentation for various audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel across HDR's Australian offices.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
