Role OverviewWe're seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Professional to join our Global Business Sales or Global Technology Sales team. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you'll provide high-level sales support to C-level executives at successful companies.
Your primary responsibility will be to apply strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to engage executives and help them address pressing business challenges. You'll understand their key initiatives, align Gartner's research and expertise, and contribute to the company's growth by ensuring strong business development of new clients.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Sales Executives to create customized plans for sales territories, focusing on supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Successfully complete the sales development program training curriculum within 15 months.
- Generate leads through prospecting potential clients, identifying new sales opportunities with existing clients, and qualifying inbound leads.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective and existing companies, C-Level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to prepare relevant outreach.
- Proactively schedule calls with prospective and existing clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
- Educate prospects and clients on the value of Gartner's renowned products and services.
- Shadow and/or own calls with aligned Sales Executive.
- Support follow-up actions to drive pipeline progression and client engagement.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Formal qualification (Bachelor's degree) preferred, but not necessary.
- Relevant work or internship experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively with senior-level executives.
- Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize daily tasks/responsibilities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders to solve problems.
