Job Overview

This role involves working in a traditional end-to-end sales capacity, focusing on PayPal's Enterprise payments platform. The position requires client-facing interactions and predominantly targets Australian-based clients. This Enterprise 'go-getter' sales role involves managing a broad range of internal stakeholder groups, including compliance, finance, account management, risk, and other teams located across local and global offices.

To succeed, you will need to demonstrate your ability to engage, influence, and deliver merchant value at c-suite level, close new and expanding relationships, and manage a traditional sales pipeline. Your expertise should include our Enterprise payments platform and its benefits for Enterprise-sized merchants. You will also identify and engage new prospects at Enterprise size businesses, utilize Salesforce.com to track and report sales, and showcase fluency in payments that is broad.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing approximately 30 Enterprise sales opportunities at any given time.
  • Daily engagement with Enterprise business contacts will be necessary as you build knowledge of target merchants' businesses and demonstrate significant value from our Enterprise suite of products.
  • You will prospect for new business, complete commercial negotiations both internally and externally to deliver against revenue performance goals, and nurture influential partnerships with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Acting as a conduit between finance, risk, customer success, compliance, etc., is essential. Sharing and learning successes and failures with fellow teammates will also be important.

Requirements and Qualifications

A proven track record of end-to-end Enterprise sales, leveraging customer stakeholder engagements at all levels, is required. Experience in payments is highly desirable, as is knowledge and experience in prospecting and converting prospect businesses into actual deals. Ability to own and manage your pipeline – sale pipeline hygiene is critical. You must want to thrive in a sales-targeted environment with challenging targets yet carries an uncapped earnings potential. Completing domestic travel to meet clients is also necessary.
