About the role:

As a key member of our Sales Development team, you'll play a crucial part in building our sales pipeline and nurturing the next generation of sales leaders. On this team, you'll have the opportunity to learn the Fintech software space from the ground up and collaborate with our world-class Sales team to cultivate new sales opportunities while establishing a solid foundation for a career in software sales.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop new sales-qualified opportunities via telephone and email communication within a targeted list of accounts.
  2. Meet key metrics, including call volume, frequency, and length, and email volume.
  3. Conduct research to identify potential prospects, ideally influencers and decision-makers, within each account; import and convert these prospects in Salesforce.com and initiate outreach campaigns.
  4. Research specific Accounts and Contacts to familiarize yourself with, understand, and implement key pieces of customized information for targeted and personalized communication.
  5. Build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel; schedule needs analysis calls and demonstrations for the enterprise and strategic markets.
  6. Collaborate with the Manager, Demand Generation, Sales Managers, and VPs of Sales and Marketing to develop and grow the sales pipeline.
  7. Manage data on prospective clients in Salesforce.com. Contribute to quarterly additions and omissions of the ICP list based on direct communication and likelihood of winning business.

Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
  2. Experience with telephone sales calling, techniques, and etiquette within a professional B2B market.
  3. Strong influencing skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and successfully.
  8. Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
  9. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
  10. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  11. Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
