Technical Construction Support Specialist

At James Hardie, we're looking for a highly skilled Technical Construction Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney CBD. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading global building products manufacturer and contribute to the growth of our company.
The estimated salary for this role is AU $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis technical support specialist position will involve providing expert assistance to internal and external stakeholders, including architects, builders, salespeople, and the general public. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, minimizing risk, and ensuring that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Providing AU-wide technical support utilizing internal methods and technologies
- Professionally responding to external and internal technical enquiries
- Offering Level 1 to Level 3 phone and email technical support
- Assisting the claims department in completing the claims process
- Managing our Take-Off service to ensure SLAs are met
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering (Civil), or Architecture
- Experience in the trade or building industry (highly desirable but not necessary)
- Strong customer service skills, ideally in a call centre environment
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aptitude to learn new software and systems
