Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our construction projects at MPA, a workplace specialist with over 25 years of experience in building innovative and progressive workplaces.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering major commercial fit outs and refurbishments on premium projects ranging from 10M to 30M+, consistently delivering high-quality results and forming genuine long-term partnerships with clients and suppliers.

About You:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with 7+ years in Project Management or contract management in commercial fitout and refurbishments.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to attract, manage, coach and mentor team members.
  • Strong commercial management and quality control, with a focus on financial success and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee and manage complex and/or multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • To define and manage program schedules, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the highest standard while minimizing risk.
  • To manage financial aspects of projects, including accurate forecasting, debtor payments and subcontractor/contractor variation negotiations.
  • To lead a project team through on-the-job learning, shared experiences and encourage professional development.
  • To provide commercial input to review tenders and qualify leads/opportunities.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Total compensation package includes additional benefits and incentives.
