Technical Support Specialist for Aquaculture Operations

About The Opportunity

In this role, you will assist in delivering technical and support services to customers using advanced technology products, including feeding, video, digital, and AI systems. Your primary goal will be to maximise equipment uptime and ensure effective processes, enabling customers to achieve their production targets and optimise fish performance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure effective handling of all processes
  • Deliver technical support and services for AKVA technology products
  • Collaborate closely with customers in a hands-on manner

About You

The successful candidate will have technical qualifications and skills in instrumentation and process control, networking/data, wireless technology, electrical automation, solar and ELV power solutions, and camera/monitoring systems. A restricted electrical license (preferred) and boat and/or forklift operating certifications (beneficial) are also advantageous. Strong interest in technology and fieldwork is required, as well as the ability to work outdoors and in moderate sea states.

What's Required?

  • Experience on aquaculture sites and familiarity with the feeding and biological processes (asset)
  • Knowledge of central feed systems and video system control, as well as server rack setup (definite asset)
