Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join MPA Construction, a workplace specialist with over 25 years of experience in building innovative and progressive workplaces.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering major commercial fit-outs and refurbishments on premium projects ranging from $10M to $30M+, consistently delivering high-quality results and forming genuine long-term partnerships with clients and suppliers.

About You:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry with 7+ years in Project Management or contract management in commercial fit-out and refurbishments.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to attract, manage, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Strong commercial management and quality control, with a focus on financial success and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee and manage complex and/or multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • To define and manage program schedules, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the highest standard while minimizing risk.
  • To manage financial aspects of projects, including accurate forecasting, debtor payments, and subcontractor/contractor variation negotiations.
  • To lead a project team through on-the-job learning, shared experiences, and encourage professional development.
  • To provide commercial input to review tenders and qualify leads/opportunities.
