Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Event Executive to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing seamless events that exceed our guests' expectations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the success of each event.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Events: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing various events, including conferences, weddings, and social gatherings.
  • Communicate with Vendors: Establish relationships with external vendors, such as catering companies, audiovisual specialists, and florists, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Sales Support: Provide support to sales executives by assisting with client meetings, responding to RFPs, and helping to develop new business opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ Year of Related Experience: Previous experience in events, hospitality, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
