The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Coordinator at Hyatt Regency Sydney, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of events and functions, providing personalized service to guests, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

We estimate that this role will offer a salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the cost of living in Sydney. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances and qualifications.

The role involves working a rotating 7-day roster, including early mornings, late evenings, and overnight shifts. Sponsorship is unavailable for this position, so applicants must hold a valid visa with full working rights.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate events and functions, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and preferences

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality, Events, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination or a related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
