The Company:

We are Apex Event Recruitment, a leading events agency in Australia. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional live experiences for our clients.

Position Terms:

  • Full-time permanent role
  • Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 from office
  • Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per annum plus superannuation and bonuses

The Role:

As an Events Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in assisting the delivery of live projects and events. You will work closely with senior members of the team to develop budgets and timelines, create client invoices, monitor budgets and timelines, manage third-party suppliers, upload and send content to print, liaise with clients, and deliver events onsite.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Work closely with directors to brainstorm ideas and develop creative event concepts
  • Research and report on trends and ideas on an ongoing basis
  • Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings, WIPs, and contact reports for clients and team
  • Assist teams in developing and implementing projects and events; including client liaison, timeline and milestone planning, liaison and coordination of creative, liaison and coordination with production and build teams, managing ticketing for various events, managing websites for various events, liaison and coordination of third-party suppliers, project and event budgeting, assisting with the smooth running of events, and weekly social media posts to market the Agency

The Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced Events Project Coordinator who has a passion for creating creative experiences for clients. The ideal candidate will have some experience working within an events agency, either in an internship or paid position. A recent graduate who is a go-getter and has a strong understanding of social media marketing and trends is also ideal.

  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Project management experience, including client and supplier management, and budgeting
  • Experience using TikTok and an understanding of content that thrives on the platform
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for events when required
