As a leading hotel in Wollongong CBD, we're committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. To achieve this goal, we're seeking a highly skilled Hotel Sales Manager to join our team.

About the Role
  • Drive revenue growth and increase market share through effective sales strategies.
  • Manage and expand our client base, building strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the conference and events department.

We're looking for an experienced sales professional who can hit the ground running and make a significant impact on our revenue growth. If you have a proven track record in hotel sales management and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  2. Identify, pursue, and manage new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and events.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
  4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
  6. Manage the sales budget, forecast future sales, and analyze performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
  7. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation.
  8. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of client needs and expectations.

Requirements
  • Previous hotel sales management experience is a MUST.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with key stakeholders.
  • Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential.
  • Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
