About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced National Account Manager to join our team at PEOPLE EQUITY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability through exceptional account and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and source innovative product and ranging solutions that drive market differentiation
  • Manage costings from concept through to 'on shelf' and oversee the full lifecycle of new product launches and category expansions
  • Travel to Shanghai a couple of times a year to oversee global product development and sourcing

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, Product Development Manager, Buyer, or Category Manager in the Australian FMCG retail sector
  • Category experience in 'non-food' product development, with a focus on FMCG/General Merchandise
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage significant P&L's
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationships management skills, with the ability to influence and deliver profitable outcomes
  • Ability to travel to China a number of times a year for 7-10 day periods
