Intermediary Relationship Manager, Vice President, Global Advisors

This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales of locally domiciled SPDR ETFs, unlisted managed funds, and State Street ETF model portfolios across key client groups within the Financial Intermediaries segment.

Key responsibilities will include developing and executing strategies to drive sales, building and maintaining a book of business, identifying and anticipating client requirements, and clearly communicating SPDR ETFs and fund investment ideas and research to clients and prospects.

The successful candidate will have strong client-facing skills, investment experience in the asset management industry, and a proven track record in strategic sales and client relationship management.

Key Requirements:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of locally domiciled ETFs, unlisted managed funds, and State Street ETF model portfolios.
  2. Build and maintain a book of business with key clients.
  3. Identify and anticipate client requirements, expectations, and needs.
  4. Clearly communicate SPDR ETFs and fund investment ideas and research to clients and prospects.
  5. Execute sales campaigns and dynamically involve clients on major SSGA initiatives.
  6. Collaborate with the Product Team to provide input into new product ideas and product enhancements.
  7. Partner closely with the Marketing Team to design, elaborate, and execute sales strategies.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation, including SAA and TAA.
  • Strong business instincts, good judgment, and creative mind-set.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide fresh insights and new ways of approaching issues.
  • Confirmed dedication to risk, compliance, governance, and regulation policies and procedures.
