Job Description

This role reports to the Vice President, Asset Management and Investment, Logistics, Australia.

You will assist the Vice President in formulating and executing portfolio management strategies for a real estate portfolio in logistics asset classes in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with positioning assets, enhancing cash flow and asset value.
  • Deliver sustainable and consistent returns to stakeholders by driving portfolio performance through effective marketing/leasing and property management plans.
  • Review monthly property budgets and forecasting, as well as annual budget preparation and review, in conjunction with Property Management (internal/external).
  • Collaborate with The Group Development Management team to ensure seamless delivery of new developments.
  • Oversee external Property and Facility Management teams to ensure assets are properly maintained, managed, and compliant with regulations.
  • Work with Property Management (internal/external) on arrears management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal on property-related matters.
  • Work with the portfolio analyst team to prepare asset plans and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering, or its equivalent.
  • At least 10 years' experience in investment and asset management in the real estate industry, with a good knowledge of logistics real estate in Australia.
  • Resourceful, analytical mind, and proficiency in financial modeling, including Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.
