Born in New York in 1965, TGI FRIDAYS is the world's largest full-service casual dining restaurant group with almost 1,000 restaurants in 61 countries. Our brand has been built on a history of innovation and doing things differently.

We are in a massive growth phase, with restaurants opening all over Australia. We are looking for experienced Head Chefs and Sous Chefs to join our team at Brisbane and Gold Coast restaurants.

The Opportunities

We seek an individual with a passion for:

  • Producing high-quality food within our KPI target.
  • Providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring solid kitchen operations.
  • Preparation and delivery of our famous TGI Friday's food in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Being a team player, prioritizing team success in all areas of work.
  • Correct training and development.
  • Maintaining thorough cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
  • Delivering food and service to Friday's standards, adhering to Australian legal requirements, and contributing to overall business performance.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef (2-3 years).
  • An energetic attitude, team player approach, and strong work ethic.
  • Possess a passion for providing exceptional quality food and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • A commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S, and food hygiene procedures.
  • Knowledge of completing a costed roster.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is desired but not essential.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

Summary of Role Requirements:

  • Thursday: Afternoon, Evening, Morning.
  • Friday: Afternoon, Evening, Morning.
  • Saturday: Afternoon, Evening, Morning.
  • Sunday: Afternoon, Evening, Morning.

Expected Salary: $73,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
