We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at The Currumbin Hotel in Currumbin Waters QLD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and execution, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Requirements:
  • Trade cooking qualifications and a minimum of three years' relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.

What We Offer:
