About the Role
The Sales Associate is a key position in driving revenue growth by acquiring new Enterprise customers for MYOB. This role involves working with a dynamic and innovative sales team to demonstrate how MYOB can address business challenges and deliver value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by delivering customer value and driving new business growth through effective planning, forecasting, and gap-filling strategies.
- Develop and maintain a Territory Management Plan to focus efforts and maximize results.
- Proactively manage the sales pipeline by building and nurturing new business networks for lead generation, including using leads from the demand generation team.
- Manage the sales process end-to-end, from qualification to closing, using a value-based approach that highlights customer benefits.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase customer value, supported by Sales Enablement tools.
- Maintain accurate records and stay up to date with product, competitor, and industry knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or account management, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and knowledge of MYOB Enterprise products is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and resilient, with a proactive approach to meeting sales targets and delivering results independently.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Skilled in sales techniques such as rapport building, needs analysis, objection handling, and negotiation to close deals effectively.
