**Our Team**

The Conservation and Wildlife service area is responsible for the conservation, protection and enhancement of natural ecosystems and biodiversity for all its inhabitants, including people. This includes the management and care of the City’s conservation reserves and the engagement in non-conservation reserves to increase habitat for local wildlife. The service area is responsible for providing opportunities to connect with nature for generations to come. This includes engagement with internal and external stakeholders including Government agencies and community.

**The Role**

The Trails Project Officer position is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of the City’s interpretative signage and trails program and associated initiatives. This also includes supporting the staff who undertake conservation and community education initiatives on behalf of the city. The role provides strong technical advice to the organization on interpretive trail and signage related matters as well as sound project and stakeholder management, financial responsibility, customer service and safety. This includes overseeing and coordinating workflow to produce high quality educational community experiences.

This 3-year part time fixed term position is a Level 6 Inside Workforce Agreement and attracts a salary range of $79,093- $83,255 gross pro rata plus superannuation and fantastic benefits.
