**The Position**

Working closely with the Service Lead HR Services, you will be part of the team responsible for the successful implementation of the new Time and Attendance system for the City. You’ll be at the heart of this change, working with an awesome team of specialists to embed the system across the business.

Key accountabilities include;
- You will have solid project experience in this space and will be comfortable meeting project milestones.
- Develop your understanding of systems as they stand to ensure the success of the project and identify any potential risks to the project.
- Assist with ensuring all modules are built in accordance with business needs, are fully tested and integrated with existing payroll system and procedures.
- Prepare training material, set up meetings, assist with HR documentation and processes.
- Work collaboratively with HR and key stakeholders to support and lead us towards successful achievement of desired outcomes.
- Support and implement initiatives that will optimise efficiencies of key business and operational processes, as well as improve alignment of core systems.
- Develop and deliver training materials and resources that are tailored to different roles and business functions.
- Ensure training content is comprehensive but easy to use and is suitable for delivery F2F, via video conferencing and via e-learning.
- Provide effective training to upskill super-user teams, utilising the ‘Train the Trainer’ approach to support ongoing and sustained adoption of knowledge.
- Obtain feedback on training methods to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of training and training materials.
- Embed knowledge and practice as relates to Data Privacy and Information Security policies, principles, and practice into training.

**About You**
- You will need to have a strong HRIS background as well as demonstrated experience with the implementation of HR systems
- Experience using Dayforce and/or aPay software is highly desirable
- As our new Project Officer, you’ll need a strong understanding of core workforce systems and how they integrate with each other
- Ability to rapidly build knowledge of systems, particularly rostering / attendance
- Experience in providing UAT support to operational teams, documenting testing outcomes and providing feedback to internal and external stakeholders
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment desirable
- Basic understanding of payroll systems
- Experience with process mapping
