About the Role

The Transportation Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue in a high-growth market. This position requires a results-driven individual who can achieve targeted sales goals while ensuring alignment with operational capacity and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure new customers to optimize transport capacity, contributing to improved efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate closely with the NSW State Transport Manager to align sales efforts with operational capabilities and objectives
  • Work with the Senior Transport BDM to ensure strategic alignment, performance monitoring, and support during the sales process
  • Implement standardized proposals to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts without disruption to existing operations
  • Drive growth through a disciplined sales approach while supporting broader transport solutions for larger contracts
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales/business development within the transportation sector, with strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of Australian transport networks and operational cost drivers
  • Proficiency in using data and performance metrics to refine sales strategies
  • Excellent ability to present and negotiate tailored transport solutions
  • Experience working with CRM systems and managing transactional sales processes
  • Bonus: Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
