We are seeking a talented Robotics Technical Support Specialist to join our rapidly expanding team in Australia. As an integral part of our global 24/7 support coverage, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support via tickets, phone, and chat mediums.

Your primary goal will be to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to robotic systems, software, and hardware defects, inconsistencies, or bugs. You will work closely with development and software teams to create viable solutions for customers and engage with high-severity incidents around product fulfillment and sortation facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and mitigating technical issues escalated by various Amazon Robotics facilities
  • Utilizing multiple data sources, dashboards, and logs to pinpoint and resolve defects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to navigate complex situations and create effective solutions
  • Managing high-severity calls, communicating, and troubleshooting directly with customers

In addition, you will be required to work a 5-day week, including one day over the weekend, to ensure critical global support coverage.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for learning and complexity. Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and database management is highly desirable.

A competitive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate, estimated at AU$120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development within Amazon Support Services Pty Ltd - D05.
