About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Business Development Manager to join our team at Discova. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for the travel industry to take on a challenging role that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with key team members within our partner organizations while serving as the main point of contact.
  • Conduct client meetings with a clear agenda and vision for the partnership's future.
  • Create and manage a clear timeline for partnership growth and renegotiate agreements as necessary.
  • Monitor account performance through key metrics and report regularly on progress against commercial targets.
  • Collaborate with Flight Centre teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and promote products and services.
  • Lead the contracting process, ensuring alignment with client goals and presenting proposals effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities and account information using best practices and systems such as Salesforce.
  • Participate in training and upskilling opportunities as recommended or relevant to your role.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends through regular training sessions and self-learning.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or account management within the travel/hospitality industry.
  • In-depth experience with the Asia market is preferred.
  • Proven track record of account growth and customer retention.
  • Outstanding sales skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to interact with diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and working outside office hours if required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective results.
  • Willingness to travel for business domestically and internationally.

What We Offer:

At Discova, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including comprehensive health insurance, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
