About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with key customers to drive growth and achieve targets for profitable sales and market share for Simplot brands and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all retail sales activities, including business planning and joint category planning with key customers.
  • Partner with our insights and revenue management teams to generate new business opportunities through NPD, activation, and pricing initiatives.
  • Develop an aligned channel/customer strategy to deliver sustainable growth in areas such as sales, distribution, and market share for both Simplot and the wider Independent network.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and Independent retail field representatives to drive and deliver category strategies at the customer level.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a National Account Manager or similar role preferably within the Independent network.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Skilled communicator across varying levels, with a customer-first focus and authentic storytelling abilities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
