Business Expansion Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TLE Electrical Blacktown. This role offers the opportunity to propel business expansion, connect with clients, and explore new market opportunities.
This position involves working independently with a flexible schedule, managing work hours and attending a weekly office check-in. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the customer base, cultivating lasting relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background, preferably within a wholesale environment or related industries, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets. Industry expertise in electrical, tools, or hardware sectors is advantageous, along with the ability to rapidly acquire product and market knowledge.
A relationship-driven approach, proficiency in cold calling, and long-term relationship building are essential skills for this role. The ability to adapt to a field-based role and travel locally for client engagements is also required. Australian or New Zealand citizenship or residency is mandatory, as no temporary visas or sponsorship will be considered.
As a Business Development Manager at TLE Electrical, you will benefit from a collaborative culture where individual contributions drive success. You will work closely with the internal sales team, other BDMs, and suppliers to leverage growth opportunities. Staying informed on industry trends and competitor activity is crucial to identify business development prospects.
